At MEVYRO, product safety is important to us. This Product Safety & Liability Policy provides important information about the safe use, care and handling of our illuminated LED tulips.

Please read these instructions carefully before using your product.

1. Intended Use

MEVYRO illuminated tulips are decorative lighting products intended for indoor use, unless the product description or accompanying instructions explicitly state otherwise.

Use the product only for its intended decorative lighting purpose and follow all instructions supplied with the product.

Do not modify the product or use it in a way that is inconsistent with its intended purpose.

2. Fire and Heat Safety

To reduce the risk of fire, overheating or damage:

• Keep the product away from open flames, candles, fireplaces, heaters and other sources of heat.

• Never cover electrical components, cables, adapters or the power supply.

• Do not place the product directly against materials that may be damaged by heat.

• Stop using the product immediately if you notice smoke, sparks, an unusual burning smell or excessive heat.

• Disconnect the product from its power source, if applicable, when it is safe to do so.

Never leave a product showing signs of overheating connected to its power source.

3. Keep Electrical Components Dry

Unless a specific product is expressly identified as suitable for wet conditions, it must be kept dry.

• Keep electrical components, cables, plugs, adapters and power supplies away from water and other liquids.

• Do not use the product in wet or damp environments unless the product is specifically rated for such use.

• Do not handle electrical components with wet hands.

• Do not immerse the product or its electrical components in water.

If the product becomes wet, disconnect it from its power source if it is safe to do so. Do not use it again until it has been assessed as safe.

4. Electrical Safety

For safe operation:

• Use only the power supply, adapter, batteries or other power source specified or supplied for the particular product.

• Do not use the product if a cable, plug, adapter, power supply or other electrical component is damaged.

• Do not attempt to repair, alter or dismantle electrical components yourself.

• Disconnect the product from its power source when it will not be used for an extended period, where applicable.

• Keep cables arranged safely to reduce the risk of tripping, pulling or accidental damage.

• Do not pull on cables to disconnect the product.

If the product does not function correctly, stop using it and contact us for assistance.

5. Children and Pets

The product is a decorative lighting item and is not a toy.

• Keep electrical components, cables, plugs and adapters out of the reach of young children and pets.

• Do not allow children to play with cables, plugs or power supplies.

• Keep packaging materials away from young children.

• Supervise children around the product where necessary to prevent damage or unsafe handling.

Do not allow children or pets to chew on or pull at cables or electrical components.

6. Damaged or Defective Products

Stop using the product immediately if it is damaged, malfunctions or shows signs of an electrical or safety problem.

Examples include:

• Damaged cables, plugs or adapters.

• Broken or exposed electrical components.

• Smoke, sparks or an unusual burning smell.

• Excessive heat during normal use.

• Unexpected electrical behaviour or failure to operate correctly.

If it is safe to do so, disconnect the product from its power source.

Do not attempt to repair the product yourself or continue using it while the problem remains unresolved.

If you believe the product presents an immediate safety risk, stop using it and keep it away from children and pets. Do not return a potentially dangerous product until you have received instructions from us.

7. Product Changes and Improper Use

Do not modify, dismantle or alter the product or its electrical components.

MEVYRO cannot accept responsibility for damage or injury caused by unauthorised modifications or use that is contrary to the product instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

This provision does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

8. Product Safety and Legal Compliance

MEVYRO is committed to offering products that meet the product safety requirements applicable to their sale.

Product requirements depend on the product's design, electrical configuration and intended use. Where applicable, products must comply with relevant European Union product safety and electrical equipment requirements.

Required product information, identification, warnings and instructions must be provided as required by applicable law.

If a product is identified as potentially unsafe, appropriate action may be taken in accordance with applicable law. This may include contacting affected customers, providing additional safety instructions, arranging a repair or replacement, issuing a refund, or organising a product recall where necessary.

This policy does not replace any legally required product documentation, conformity assessment, marking or other compliance obligations.

9. Product Defects and Statutory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

If a product is defective, unsafe, not as described or does not conform to the applicable purchase agreement, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy under applicable law.

The remedies available depend on the circumstances and the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to your purchase.

Any commercial warranty offered by MEVYRO is additional to, and does not replace, your statutory rights.

10. Liability

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Subject to mandatory legal requirements, MEVYRO is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, failure to follow applicable safety instructions or unauthorised modifications where the law permits such a limitation.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer protection or product liability legislation.

11. Reporting Safety Concerns

Your safety matters to us.

If you experience a safety issue, discover a defect or have concerns about the safe use of a MEVYRO product, please contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and any relevant photographs or videos, if available.

We will review the information and take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable law.
